Chris DeBose (DeRoc) lead vocals, songwriter: DeRoc served in the Marines as a sergeant in the first Gulf War. This experience forged strong leadership skills that inspire and direct the band. DeRoc’s ability to lead is only eclipsed by his unique baritone often compared to Tone Loc. Chris is a founding member of the Revealers his one and only musical project which he pours his heart and soul into. The results can be heard on all three
cds as well seen and felt anytime you catch the band live.
Felice M. Guimont – vocals, songwriter: This Native New Orleanian, singer, songwriter, poet, and musicians’ advocate has always valued music for its positive, healing effects. Strong humanistic convictions combined with song, fuel her artistic purpose. She has performed with and assisted many local artists through her work with The New Orleans Musicians Clinic/Assistance Foundation. Felice has participated in many documentaries on behalf of N.O. musicians, including the soon to be released, “One Note at a Time”, which highlights many beloved musicians’ who have passed on. She recently joined the Revealers whom she has respected and followed since their inception, and thrives on the groups synergy and unity. She is thrilled to “Reveal” and be a part of such a dynamic musical movement.
Don Williams (brother Don) guitar, vocals, song writer: Don is a versatile guitar and bass player who has shared his talent with many New Orleans ensembles over the past 16 years including: YaYa Sol, Chris Klein and the Boulevards, Christian Serpas and Ghost Town, Jesse Moore, Gal Holiday and the Honky Tonk Revue, Colin Lake, Ricardo Crespo and many others. Don has been a member of the Revealers since 1997 and performed on all three compact discs. He also produced the debut recording for YaYa Sol.
Norman Nail (Norm) bass, songwriter: Norman is both solid bass player who has been the rock of the Revealers rhythm section since the bands inception and is well known as one of New Orleans premier massage therapists and holistic healers. These dual skills make Norman an invaluable asset both as a player, a leader and individual who's empathy and depth inform and enrich the project. As a founding member of the band his presence is undeniable having performed on all three cd's and racking up a near perfect attendance record.
Darryl White (Drummy D) - drums, songwriter, arranger: Daryl is the original drummer and a founding member of the Revealers. He has toured extensively with Grammy
Award Winner, Chris Thomas King and Tab Benoit. He has also performed with Jody Watley, Paula Abdul, Dr. John, Cyril Neville, Dennis Edwards Temptation Review, Imeda May, John Rich of Big and Rich, Peter Novelli and many others. Darryl has been mentioned in Modern Drummer magazine and had his own write up in Off Beat magazine. His endorsements include Sabian Cymbals and Pro-mark drumsticks. He is very proud of his drumming on the soundtrack for the film 'Hurricane on the Bayou' and the Revealers are proud to have him back in the fold.
Albert Ventura (Al) - guitar, vocals, songwriter: Referred to by some players he works with as "the musician who appeared out of nowhere", Al has actually been playing guitar and bass since he was 10. He is still influenced by his childhood idols Robin Trower, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce (just to name a few). His constantly evolving style is a testament to his dedication to improving his skills on the instrument. Al's motivation can be summed up by his mission statement, "Above all, to continue to show gratitude by entertaining as many people as possible until the creator says no more."
Claude Bryant - keyboards, vocals, songwriter: Born and raised in New Orleans into a musical family Claude has always had a passion for music. Claude was a student at NOCCA in the late 70's under Jazz icon Ellis Marsalis where he studied Classical and Jazz piano as well as vocals. He was president of the choir at Alcee Fortier high school and also graduated with honors from the Music Business Institute earning an A/S degree in music production. After graduation Claude founded a reggae band called One Drop Plus which toured up and down the east coast for 10 years then he joined the Art Awareness Ensemble which also toured the northeast extensively. In 1999 Claude returned to New Orleans where he worked with Cyril Neville and the owners of the world famous Tipitina's. Working with Tipitina's and Endangered Species Records, Claude produced 13 albums in two years by artists including Cyril Neville, The Lil Rascals, Trombone Shorty, James Andrews, Eddie Bo, Fats Domino, Hot 8 Brass Band, Marva Wright and many others. In addition to the talent and leadership that Claude brings to the Revealers he also performs and records with his own band Claude Bryant and the All Stars.
