Tipitina's Uptown The original club, established in 1977, at the famed corner of Napoleon and Tchoupitoulas, is a 1,000 capacity 2-story cultural landmark. The club, which was created for rhythm and blues legend Professor Longhair, has an atmosphere inhabited with all the spirits of musical legends that have performed over the club's rich history. In addition, to the club's incomparable pedigree are modern attributes such as a high quality sound system and lights in the most authentic New Orleans atmosphere.
